Introduction to the Capability Maturity Model® Integration
This class is the official Software Engineering Institute (SEI) licensed course. GPI Technologies has a strategic partnership with Norausky Process Solutions (NPS), who is an SEI Transition Partner authorized to deliver this training. The purpose of SEI's Capability Maturity Model
Integration (CMMI) is to provide guidance for improving an organization's processes and ability to manage the development, acquisition, and maintenance of products and services. The CMMI places proven practices into a structure that helps an organization assess its organizational maturity and process area capability, establish priorities for improvement and guide the implementation of these improvements.
We ensure that participants understand the importance of having defined processes within their organization and the rationale for process improvement; that they comprehend the architecture of the CMMI models (maturity levels, process areas, generic and specific goals and practices) and are able to apply the CMMI principles to meet the needs of their organizations.
